Born Lorena Hannecart from the Dominican Republic, the VBX resident has a deep connection with music. Being brought up in a household surrounded by all different kinds of music and having spent endless hours on the dancefloor herself, her sets are a hypnotic exploration through sounds driven by percussion and raw elements. Never restricting herself to one single genre, her sound covers all the corners of what she considers to be the right fit for the moment. Hannecart has been landing coveted spots around Amsterdam, at revered parties like MARICAS, Love On The Rocks, Spielraum, Slapfunk and VBX — her constantly evolving record collection has hooked the likes of many and continues to catch the attention of dancers from around the world.
