Tsepo’s pure dedication to DJing has earned him the respect of promoters around Europe. Rather than producing music to get his name out there, the Dutchman's sole focus is the art and craft of playing the right records at the right time. Always digging for something new and searching for sounds that will add to his musical vocabulary, the man with the big smile and bigger afro lives for longer sets where he can really tell a story. Veering between considered house and cultured techno, his always interesting selections can make even the biggest clubs seem small and personal. He has a versatile sound that focuses on crafting an overarching atmosphere, be that with hypnotic grooves or deeper drums. For Tsepo, connecting with the crowd is key, whether that’s through subtle peaks and troughs or with more playful, party pumping tunes. A former resent of Amsterdam’s Trouw, he is now a resident at the city’s vital Shelter club, where he can be found adapting to each party without ever losing his own musical identity. Often playing for more than five hours, he manages to nurture a vibe and evolve it throughout the course of the evening, leaving dancers somewhere very different than where they started. Further afield, he plays clubs like Heideglühen and Griessmühle in Berlin and festivals such as Paradise City in Belgium or Lighthouse Festival in Croatia, as well as guesting on the much loved Red Light Radio and being in demand by the most tasteful podcast series, where he can just as easily serve up trippy and cosmic ambient house as he can Motor City techno. Tsepo can express himself in many ways and always with absorbing results.
